Three new fun shirts from Snorg Tees

by Andy on July 5, 2013

Not a bad week at all from Snorg, though I do wonder how often I could wear the “don’t read…” shirt before the already quite thin joke was completely run into the ground. As usual the new shirts are $5 off the regular price this week so you have until July 7th to grab them on the cheap.

For once I wish that the audience got a bit more hand holding with this design and it actually had text at the top that read “The Emotions of Ron Swanson.” It’s fairly obvious that’s the subject of the design, but I feel that the text would give it a more authoritative quality that would suit the joke. Also, it’s nice that 80sTees have licensed designs, but that Parks & Rec logo is just not needed.

Post image for Tshirt Laundry release three tees that appeal to people who aren’t me

I don’t think that there’s necessarily anything wrong with this weeks releases at Tshirt Laundry, I just don’t think they’re for me. The Wrap shirt looks like something BustedTees would have released about 4 years ago, I’ve never watched Dora The Explorer, and whilst I do love Parks & Recreation (the inspiration behind the Snake Juice shirt), the design just isn’t strong enough for me. Okay, so I guess i do think there are things wrong with these designs, ha!

These three shirts are $14 this week before going up next week, and check out their $7 winter clearance section if you’re in the mood for a bargain.

Pavlov’s cat is the winner for me this week at Snorg, the Ron Swanson shirt is good for a laugh, and I can’t see the YOLO shirt appealing to regular readers of HYA. The new shirts are $14.95 as usual, with 20% off everything else in store until Sunday.

Pretty nice bunch from Tshirt Laundry this week, with my favourite being that well put together Yoshi poster.

I finally saw the episode where Ron’s favourite steak house had been shut down and he wanted all the bacon & eggs (all the bacon and eggs), so when I saw this shirt at 80sTees I have to mention it.

Tshirt Laundry have one of the most obscure Simpsons reference t-shirts I’ve ever seen, there must be some big fans of the show in their office.

BustedTees released 4 shirts last week

Zelda t-shirt

A little later than usual, here’s my recap of BustedTees latest releases. Can anyone explain ‘Zelda is the girl’ to me, I feel like this might be some kind of meme that has passed me by.

I haven’t read the Hunger Games series so I can’t comment on this shirt, but it sure does look nice.

Ron Swanson and his love of bacon and eggs is sure getting a lot of attention in the t-shirt world recently.

I think that this might be the tamest Walking Dead shirt I’ve ever seen. I haven’t seen a lot of them, but when I have, it doesn’t look like someone spilled a bit of ketchup on a tee.

Daily Tees & News for December 2nd

by Andy on December 2, 2011

teefury highlander t-shirt

When I opened all the daily sites today (21 tabs, Firefox doesn’t care for that much) I wondered whether I’d actually get to see the TeeFury site. Thankfully it turned up, so any possible malware that may have existed yesterday appears to have been removed and all is right with the world again. I remain disappointed by the response from TeeFury about the issue, it took them at least 13 hours to acknowledge any kind of problem (done by their Facebook page), and they only wrote about it after the warning message had been removed. They posted this message on Twitter at the same time as the Facebook message: “If you had trouble reaching earlier, try now! We’ve addressed the issue that was causing problems:″ That link now goes to a 404 page. Frankly, that is not good enough, if you might be exposing your fans to malware via your site you have to tell people by every avenue about the issue and warn them as soon as possible, not when you’ve fixed the problem, and you should make some kind of mention of it when you send out a newsletter that day (presumably to thousands of people). I still like TeeFury and will continue to write about them, but I do not like the way they dealt with this situation.

Nerd joke at RIPT today.
