Not a massive release from Portuguese brand Black Thunder for this Summer collection, just a couple of designs on tees and tank tops (€15 each), a tote bag (€5) and a 5 panel hat (€17). At least it’s all killer and no filler with two very wearable designs, and the lookbook ladies do a good job of showing them off to their full potential.

Margin London Preview

by Margin London on February 4, 2013

Regular Hide Your Arms readers will have spotted our recent posts highlighting a few of the brands exhibiting at Margin London on the 10th & 11th February.

With just six days to go until the show opens to buyers and press, here’s a preview of some more of the labels making their tradeshow debut at the exhibition.

We thought we’d better not post any more in-depth profiles otherwise the Hide Your Arms crew wouldn’t have any exclusives to report on when they visit the show!

Here are some images to whet the appetite and look forward to the Hide Your Arms reports after the show.

Villainplanet – a new poker themed brand

by Andy on September 2, 2011

poker t-shirt

When I think of t-shirt brands that are targeting poker players my expectations are generally not very high, I feel like most poker shirts are aimed at bros rather than the design crowd. Thankfully Villainplanet don’t fall into that crowd, which is possibly due to them being a European brand, and I don’t think that they really have ‘Bros’ on the continent. I’m getting a hint of a Johnny Cupcakes vibe off that black shirt because of the phrase and the style of lettering, I don’t feel like it goes too far over the edge rip territory, but there may have been some inspiration there. All three of their launch shirts are priced at €19.99 and are available now.

Petoria + Joehio 4 Ever by Unreal Cotton

by Andy on July 15, 2009

Unreal Cotton are a company that create tees based upon imaginary/fictional places in TV and movies, such as Springfield in the Simpsons and Quahog in Family guy. As a concept, I love it, going into their universe and treating it as realiyu is a better way to reach out to fans of the show than to just slap a logo or character onto a tee. Fortunately, the quality of the concept matches up with the quality of the designs, in fact, the one I’ve picked out here is probably the least impressive when it comes to design skill (but as I’ve mentioned in the past, I don’t know about these things, so I could be wrong).

Costiness=€18 Available from Unreal Cotton
