I’ve got no idea how long this sale will be going on, but if you’re a lefty then you might want to pick something up. I actually wrote up a long rant just then about the tea party and how they’re poisoning my opinion of the Right and tarring all Republicans with the same borderline racist, ignorant brush, but I’m sure you guys don’t want to hear my political opinions, so I’ll try and hold them in.
Progresswear make some pretty darn nicely designed political tees, and they’ve got a blowout sale on at the moment, with all their shirts $9.99 or less.

Anywho, Charles Darwin had his 200th birthday last week, which a lot of people seemed to think was a big deal on account of him writing some book the gist of which is “things change to fit their surroundings.” Kind of obvious to me, and yet he’s celebrated as some kind of genius. I wonder what people in 200 years will think of my masterpiece “people who are nice are likable.”

I suppose that if you ‘get’ this design then you’ll like it, but if not then you probably won’t be bothered with it so I’m not going to try and persuade you either way. I do think that I’d enjoy this design more if the numbers were bigger though, since I always think of Helvetica as a font that deserves to be seen large. In keeping with Progresswear’s standards, just as they give proceeds of political tee sales to political charities, a portion of the sales of this tee are going to design education programmes.
