the bungaloo

I met the artist behind The Bungaloo at Renegade in London last year and he had some great designs, so I wholeheartedly recommend spending $5 (plus shipping) on a random shirt from the collection, it’s very likely that you won’t be disappointed.

snorg tees

It’s almost pun overload at Snorg this week, but my personal favourite is the vampire crest design. Anyone tempted by the grab bags at that bargain price?

design by humans tee grinder

I’ve always been put off by mystery tee sales because if I’m spending money on something I like to know what it is. So when I heard that DBH had introduced the ‘TeeGrinder’ in which you could get three random shirts for $25 I figrued it had to be a mystery bundle deal. Nope. You can’t choose which shirts you receive, but you can see them before you place your order, as shown in the picture. You can even ‘grind’ several times after picking your size and gender in the hopes that a better bundle comes up, though, of course, once you press grind you lose the last bundle you had up on the screen so you’re taking a chance that you could be shown a worse bundle than the one you already had. I suppose you could get around this by opening multiple browser tabs, but that does seem like quite a lot of hassle. $8.33 for a Design By Humans shirt is a pretty sweet deal, and I really like this implementation of the ‘random shirts’ idea.

bustedtees mystery t-shirts

If you like BustedTees a lot, as in you look at their store and you like at least half of their designs (especially the ones that are currently in the $10 clearance area), then a mystery tee may well be right up your alley. It might also be a good idea if you want to stock up on shirts to give out as presents to friends over the year, since you can pretty much guarantee that no matter what shirt you receive then you’ll have at least one friend that will like it.

hipstery mystery packages

Okay, it’s actually more like 46 hours since they announced this a couple of hours ago, but 48 hours is a number that the brand understands to be two days, and it’s how Hipstery described it anyway so I thought that would make the most sense, which may not be the case since I’ve had to write this sentence of explanation.

Germany’s favourite mystery t-shirt company, Hipstery, is offering free shipping on the above pacakges for the next… however many hours, as long as you use the coupon code imawinner.

Out of interest, have any HYA readers ever bought a mystery package from Hiptery, and if so, what did you think of it? The mystery shopping aspect seems pretty interesting to me but I’d just be too afraid to order something without knowing what it is.

80s movies t-shirt

Sorry about the intermittent service on HYA recently, our wireless router failed last week, I ordered another on rush delivery from Amazon and when it arrived it wouldn’t work, and our backup router is quite old and a little flakey which doesn’t help things. There is another router on the way from Amazon though, so hopefully all of this will be sorted out before I go on my traditional Christmas break.

Wow, there really were a lot of iconic movies released in 1985, cool shirt from TeeFury.

Harry Potter shirt at Qwertee.

star wars cantina band t-shirt

Nothing like starting the week off with a Star Wars design from TeeFury. I watched Paul last night, I enjoyed it, and I enjoyed the Star Wars references too.

Random shirts for $6.66 at Shirt.Woot today.

You ain’t my friend, guy! You ain’t my guy, buddy! You ain’t my buddy, pal! I wouldn’t necessarily want to wear this t-shirt from RIPT, but I do think it’s funny.

Very nice shirt from Tilteed this weekend (there’s only a few hours left to pick it up), it would fit in nicely on Wall Street right about now.

Very likable design from Nowhere Bad, simple but cute.

When I see the word Nimbus I don’t think of Harry Potter, instead I think of Brannigan’s ship from Futurama, but I’ll admit I’m probably in the minority. Shirt available from Qwertee.

And another Harry Potter shirt from OtherTees, not long left to pick this one up.

“Dia De Los Skeletor” from GraphicLab considering it was such a high show when I was growing up it’s surprising how little the tee community does with He-Man. We can expect to see more Halloween/horror themed shirts from GraphicLab this month.

Not bad from TeeMinus24, though I’m not entirely sure why MJ has been turned into a Lego man.

I’ve featured this Yanmos design before, when he was selling it on MySoti, I liked it then and I like it now that it’s at Loviu.

4 random tees for $30 at BustedTees

by Andy on October 1, 2011

bustedtees grab bag

Grab bags seem to be popular at the moment, with BustedTees getting in on the act with a 4 for $30 deal, anyone dare to spin the roulette wheel?

BustedTees $30 Grab Bag

thinkgeek cheap t-shirts

ThinkGeek are offering ThinkGeek Summer Sale“>random shirts for $5.99 ($8.99 is you are a larger person) whilst stocks last, and from the looks of things that includes shipping. Any of you guys going to be taking a risk on their geeky tees?

teefruy sale

$6 shirts at TeeFury today, gotta say that’s pretty tempting for a random shirt, anyone going to take the chance? Oh, and you are guaranteed to get different designs if you order more than one shirt at a time, and I think you’re limited to 12 shirts in any size (not sure if that is per order or not).

I like ‘Slow and Steady’ from Shirt.Woot today, quite a novel take on the tortoise vs. hare story. $10 today only.

‘Go Riders’ is a Games of Thrones shirt from RIPT that I just don’t understand, pretty cool looking design, but there’s a reason why there aren’t many orange shirts in my wardrobe. From $10 today only.

A Harvey Birdman t-shirt? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a design based on HB, so this is pretty exciting for me… I’m not going to buy it of course, but still, good on The Yetee for finding an under-utilised niche of geeky tees. $11 for the next few days/

Fun design from Loviu today, not the kind of thing I’d buy, but it looks good and I like the colour combo. €12 today, €22 after that.

This is clever, really novel approach. $12 for the next few hours at Tilteed.

I was actually playing Left4Dead 2 last night, which I believe this design at Qwertee is based on, really cool game, I’m not good at it, but it is fun to dip in and out of when you’re bored of writing about t-shirts and just want to mow down approaching zombies with a chainsaw. £8 until midnight tomorrow.

random shirt.woot t-shirt

Personally, I’m not enough of a fan of the style of shirts that Shirt.Woot offer to find this offer that enticing. Sure, I really like the designs they offer sometimes, but not often enough to risk having a shirt I have no interest in taking up space in my bedroom, even at this low, low price. Anyone going to be picking up a shirt or two today?

thinkgeek random t-shirt

ThinkGeek tees wouldn’t usually grace the pages of Hide Your Arms since they aren’t really my style, but since HYA has become something of a haven for sysadmins recently following the publicity The IT Crowd posts brought the site I couldn’t resist posting such a tempting deal, and who knows you might pick up a Glennz tee as one of their random shirts!

Bigger dudes are stuck with a $6.99 (XXL) and $7.99 (XXXL) price point, the ladies add on another buck and are paying $8.99 for a tee, and skinny people (S-XL) will be paying $5.99, not exactly a lot for a random t-shirt at ThinkGeek.

thriving ink grad bag offer

Pretty sweet deal eh, friends? For just $15 you will receive 3 random shirts from previous Thriving Ink lines, and whilst I do feel that their latest line is a big step forward design-wise, their old stuff didn’t exactly suck. Oh, and it’s only $5 for shipping, so all-in it’s $20 for 3 tees. Oh, and if I remember correctly from the last TI post I did, they don’t do international shipping, sorry.
