I thought that something might be up when ReThink cancelled their advertising on HYA (spaces still available!) a few days ago, but I was still surprised to hear the ReThink Clothing will be shutting down.
Andy hasn’t disclosed the reasons why he’s shutting the business after four years of selling t-shirts designed by college artists, but judging by his farewell blog post he’s looking at the positive side of things about the sudden closure, which may suggest that he already has something else in the pipeline. I’ll be sad to see them go because the shirts were consistently good, and I was always happy to receive an e-mail from Andy.
To clear out stock he has put all the remaing tees on sale, some as low as $5, most at $10, and the most recent design at a still very reasonable $15. I don’t know how long the store will remain operational so if you want to pick something up do it quickly because this is your last chance to pick up these designs anywhere.

Rethink launched a project on kickstarter.com and is based on getting enough support to print 3 awesome shirts from Zack Davenport, which are expressions of his time in college. The works are awesome and unique, but all amazingly tell a fun narrative.
By supporting the project, you are basically pre-ordering with some nice incentives. Check it out and support college artists!
[Andy: I’m really glad that ReThink Andy put together this submission because I had been meaning to write about these tees (because they’re really good) but I’ve been a bit busy recently with my other job (which is why I’m setting up this post after midnight, and why you’ve been seeing so many submissions recently), so I’m glad you guys get to take a look at them and maybe back the project on kickstarter.

Otter-tude has always been one of my favorite shirts. When I decided to print it, it wasn’t a calculated business decision. I just loved the art and wanted the shirt. Little did I know that would be one of my best decisions in running Rethink.
I’ve been recently wanting to bring back the old designs and came up with the Super Senior Series, a last chance for old designs to get a new colorway and a limited release.
Otter-tude naturally came up first and is now #1 in that series. It features a AA shirt, soft and vibrant inks, a printed neck/size tag and best of all the most bad ass otter around.
Enjoy and remember this is limited so act quick!
[Andy: Thanks for the submission Andy!]

I would assume that if you’re in the US that the delivery date hasn’t yet passed for you to pick up some discounted goods from ReThink Clothing, and if you aren’t in the US then at least you’ll be able to get something nice for after the holiday period.
