I still like the concept of Retro Campaigns, creating shirts based on old political campaigns from America’s past.
Abraham Lincoln,
Theodore Roosevelt and
William Henry Harrison receive the treatment this time around. I think that I prefer the more modern poliical characters simply because we all know that Abe and Teddy didn’t use t-shirts to promote their campaigns, so whilst these tees are using graphics that were actually used (right?), they somehow feel less credible than the designs that were used as t-shirts, though that may partially be because there have been a lot of iconic t-shirt designs that have come from US political campaigns in the 60s and 70s.
Rumplo may not like them, but I find the concept of tees based upon old political campaigns really interesting. Maybe I’d like to see the prints a bit bigger on the tees, but since they’re using old campaign designs (I don’t believe they’re original) I can hardly blame Retro Campaigns for sticking to what the tees looked like back in the day.

Retro Campaigns have released seven new tees, based upon their winning formula of popular political designs from the past, which I’m sure you guys might find refreshing if you’re feeling a bit of political burnout from the relentless coverage of Obama vs McCain.
