teefury mario dinosaur t-shirt

It took me reading the description to realise, but this TeeFury shirt is actually about Mario, not just a dinosaur wearing boots.

Well, that song is in your head now, thanks Qwertee.

Tilteed may not be releasing new designs at the moment but their back-catalgoue has a lot of really good shirts so I can handle it for a while.

Nice concept behind this Shirt.Woot design, and adorably style.

I don’t really understand why the Nyan cat became popular, but that’s usually the case with memes, but I do like this Doctor Who shirt at RIPT.

I haven’t seen Game of Thrones, but I can see how this crossover Star Wars shirt works very well at The Yetee.

Ahhh, one of those rare “Mexican folk art x He-Man” mashups at TeeMinus24

It’s 8-bit and I like it, good work 24tee.

I can’t help but feel there’s a reference that I’m missing in this shirt from Tee Raiders.

That area of empty space is still bothering me about this Loviu shirt.

Fair to say that this Catch of the Day Tee shirt is not for me.

A Better Tomorrow have still got loads of their shirts on sale for 19€

12 new shirts on sale at NoiseBot.

Poketo have released some fall items like ponchos, scarves and hats that look like bears.

I think that the infographic tells you everything you need to know about this CX.CITY sale.

ript artist appreciation

I can’t help but feel that the “but wait, there’s more” should be the top dog in that infographic instead of the Amazon gift cards, but it’s up to RIPT how they promote this big competition. I can see a lot of artists being interested in this competition, the artists will always own the designs, so it’s worth submitting on the off chance that you get picked (and you’ll get he usual $1 per shirt sale anyway), and you might be $1,000 better off when Christmas rolls around.

teefury hunt for red october

The Hunt for Red October gets the tee treatment by Matt Dearden today at TeeFury.

I can’t remember the last time that I wrote about a shirt from a.mar.illo, but I’m glad that this Tilteed shirt gives me that opportunity.

Scott Pilgrim x Doctor Who? Seeing at my Scott Pilgrim & Doctor Who posts are two of the most popular on HYA, I assume that this Nowhere Bad shirt may do quite well.

It’s cool that print out their new shirts before making them available so we can see the shirt in reality rather than a mockup.

Not a massive fan of this Shirt.Woot design, there’s nothing wrong with it, it’s just a style that doesn’t appeal to me.

Haha! Simple and effective. RIPT

My original Game Boy is still within arms reach right now. I don’t actually play it, I’m just messy. TeeMinus24.

Now this is a classic by Olechka on insaneetee at Uneetee today. $14.99 as usual, down from $24.99.

Cool shirt from 24tee, the reference isn’t immediately apparent, so here’s their description for a little help: “Jerry Garcia, lead guitarist of The Grateful Dead, lost part of his finger as a child in a wood-chopping accident with his brother. That didn’t stop him from becoming one of the greatest guitar players that has ever lived.”

Only when I read that this shirt was called ‘treenagers’ did I warm to it. Loviu.

dirty dancing t-shirt

Sorry this roundup is so late, it’s hard to get back into the swing of things after 3 days off.

You’d have thought that Footloose would be the flavour of the month when it came to dancing, but apparently Dirty Dancing is the top choice at TeeFury, today at least.

Qwertee give us an X-Ray of Wolverine and his awesome claws.

Tilteed make everyone happy by selling a distinctly Autumnal t-shirt by HYA fave Greg Abbott.

Nowhere Bad are in the mood to celebrate the Evil Dead trilogy. give us a tee I would have loved when I was 16, it’s a bit dark and has birds and a heart on it, perfect for wearing whilst listening to a Finch album.

Shirt.Woot have a thing for foxes (design also available as a hoodie).

RIPT fill our minimum quote of daily Star Wars t-shirts.

The Yetee make sure that Doctor Who fans aren’t disappointed by this post.

TeeMinus24 are giving $3 from the sale of every shirt to a breast cancer charity.

Uneetee have knocked ‘Agua Estrella’ (water stars?) down from $26.99 to $14.99 today only.

OtherTees are referencing Zombieland, right?

24tee are probably calling me an a-hole in Russian after I felt their Steve Jobs shirt last Thursday was in poor taste.

Haven’t Loviu sold this shirt before?

GraphicLab close out this rather large roundup with a Wendy’s/zombie mashup, nice!

skeleton glow in the dark t-shirt

Another Halloween costume shirt from TeeFury. This one glows in the dark, which is good because otherwise it would have been a very normal shirt.

Bit of a stunner from Shirt.Woot today.

Nice work from RIPT today too, fair to say that we’re getting quite a few Halloween-inspired shirts at the moment.

Insanitee from Qwertee for the next couple of days, random shirts for £6 each, which is £2 off the regular price.

Not bad again from TeeMinus24, I think they’re finding their feet now.

It’s conversations like this which are why none of my friend’s like to sit near me and my girlfriend on a night out. €12 today at Loviu.

24tee are a daily shirt site I just found out about, I think they’re fairly new. If you like this shirt check them out, and artists in the audience may want to get in touch with them about having your artwork featured.

McDonald's t-shirt

Well, there’s definitely nothing creepy at all about this McDonald’s-themed t-shirt from TeeFury today.

I certainly haven’t seen anyone mashup the evil monkey from Family Guy with the Wizard of Oz, have you? Good on ya, RIPT.

I really like this tee from Shirt.Woot, the artwork is great and it’s a funny concept.

Looks like have kicked up their release schedule a notch. This design goes over my head to be honest, but it does look nice.

I can’t help but feel that I’d like this shirt much more without the deer at the bottom right, I’m not sure what it is meant to add to the piece. €12 today at Loviu.

Here’s a shirt about Red Dead Redemption at The Yetee. Haven’t played the game myself so I can’t really pass comment.

nintendo miyamoto t-shirt

I like the idea behind TeeFury‘s offering today, but the artwork isn’t quite there for me. I suppose that’s a harsh critique because they are recreating a TV show logo, but there just seems to be something missing for me.

I get the feeling that this “Stark Industries” t-shirt will look a lot better on a t-shirt rather than in mockup form, as the way that the design has been distressed doesn’t work particularly well in mockup form, but otherwise a solid shirt at RIPT today.

Don’t bother, I’ve already tried, there isn’t really a QR code on this tee from Shirt.Woot, which renders it fairly pointless for me since I think that QR codes are ugly. If you’re in need of blank shirts, or just don’t like designs, in which case I can’t imagine why you’re on this site, the main deal on Woot today is 5 t-shirts of random colour for $7.99 ($12.99 including shipping).

Every time I see Pope Benedict he looks sinister. Pope John Paul II seemed like a good guy, which I feel is pretty much the minimum to be Pope, but I don’t think I’ve ever heard a story about Benedict where I’ve stopped and thought “huh, he seems alright.” £8 today at Qwertee.

Ahhh, TeeMinus24, I may not like your shirt today, but I love the poem you’ve used to describe it:

Sir mix-a-lot like big butts
and he cannot lie
you facebook users can’t deny
when a friend sends you a very funny link
and you want others to know what you think
you click like

I forgot to include Loviu yesterday, whoops! You guys should be on my ass when I make mistakes like that, force me to be a better blogger.

parks & recreation t-shirt

Ahhh, I do like Parks & Recreation, it’s cool that there is a show on TV where the vast majority of the characters are basically good, and even people like Ron Swanson who pretend not to care about others will still do the right thing in the end, and I like that. Shirt $10 at TeeFury today.

Rushmore, rushmore, rush more. Cool idea well executed. From $10 today at RIPT.

I’m surpried that it has taken this long for someone to come up with this idea, unless it’s actually pretty old and it’s taken until now for me to see it. $10 at Shirt.Woot today.

Does anyone recognise today’s shirt at Qwertee? Yes, it was sold by The Yetee just a couple of weeks ago, the exact same design except it was on a red tee there. I wonder if Qwertee were aware of this?

I have been harsh about TeeMinus24 in the past, and I will continue to do so where I see fit, and whilst I wouldn’t wear this shirt, I think that it and the style does actually fit with the target demographic of gamers who wear black shirts, and kudos to TM24 for releasing a timely shirt. I’ve enjoyed the preview 2 Gears of War games, anyone picking up the 3rd release?

Quite a cool shirt today celebrating movie double acts from The Yetee today, wonder if we’ll see this on Qwertee in a few weeks (joking!).

Been a while since I could feature a tee, I haven’t followed them for that long, so I don’t know how regular their release schedule is. Cool shirt though!

archer vs. barry t-shirt

Half of the shirts on sale today are based on animated TV shows, most of which I didn’t need to look up before writing about them, so I guess I’m still in touch with the young folks.

I tried watching Archer but just couldn’t get into it, however I’m sure it has a decent following which justifies TeeFury offering a shirt about it for the low, low price of $10.

I do believe that this is Brock Samson of Venture Bros fame, which is another show I couldn’t get into, but you be honest I didn’t try too hard. From $10 at RIPT today.

Once again I like the style on today’s shirt from Tilteed, I think that they’re 5 for 5 this week, bravo!

Really nice offering from Shirt.Woot too, we’re being treated well today by the daily tee sites.

Today’s shirt is rather strangely called “Donald F#%k” which reminds me of Louis C.K.’s N-Word joke but it is otherwise a good design from Loviu today.

Pretty cool shirt from Nowhere Bad today, I think that I’d like it more if the Unicorn looked a bit happier, like it was enjoying the experience of being a bike, because as is it looks like a bit of a macarbe trophy mounted on the handlebars of the bike. Still an interesting design though.

mario t-shirt

I’ve only got 5 sites to report on today, I can’t help but think I’ve forgotten some of them (it can get confusing trying to remember which ones are daily and which ones bring in a new shirt every 2/3/4 days. Let me know if I’ve forgotten any!

Usually I show you the mockup on the two TeeFury models, but there’s a lot going on with this Mario-themed shirt, so I thought we’d better get closer in to appreciate it. You could do a lot worse with $10 than buy this shirt.

Yes, this is a Monty Python referencing shirt from RIPT today, but can anyone tell me why they’re ninjas, or is it just randomly funny?

I thought this shirt from Loviu was a bit generic at first, but when when I saw it was called “we built this city on rock & roll” it got kicked up a notch in my book.

I don’t think I’ve been able to get up without hitting snooze for a good 5 years now, am I the only one that sets their alarm 9 minutes before they intend to get up because they know they’ll hit snooze. Cool shirt from Shirt.Woot today.

Once again I like the style of Tilteed’s daily tee, and would I be right in thinking that’s a seafoam coloured shirt? Delightful!

teefruy sale

$6 shirts at TeeFury today, gotta say that’s pretty tempting for a random shirt, anyone going to take the chance? Oh, and you are guaranteed to get different designs if you order more than one shirt at a time, and I think you’re limited to 12 shirts in any size (not sure if that is per order or not).

I like ‘Slow and Steady’ from Shirt.Woot today, quite a novel take on the tortoise vs. hare story. $10 today only.

‘Go Riders’ is a Games of Thrones shirt from RIPT that I just don’t understand, pretty cool looking design, but there’s a reason why there aren’t many orange shirts in my wardrobe. From $10 today only.

A Harvey Birdman t-shirt? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a design based on HB, so this is pretty exciting for me… I’m not going to buy it of course, but still, good on The Yetee for finding an under-utilised niche of geeky tees. $11 for the next few days/

Fun design from Loviu today, not the kind of thing I’d buy, but it looks good and I like the colour combo. €12 today, €22 after that.

This is clever, really novel approach. $12 for the next few hours at Tilteed.

I was actually playing Left4Dead 2 last night, which I believe this design at Qwertee is based on, really cool game, I’m not good at it, but it is fun to dip in and out of when you’re bored of writing about t-shirts and just want to mow down approaching zombies with a chainsaw. £8 until midnight tomorrow.

doctor who t-shirt

After being on a bit of a downer yesterday I’m glad to say that there are some really nice shirts from the daily tee sites today, so let’s dive right in.

“Access-who-rize” is a great Doctor Who t-shirt, I really like the style, it’s pretty different to most of the Who shirts that I see. $10 today at TeeFury.

“Everdeen Hunting Co-operative” is apparently based on a series of books called ‘The Hunger Games’ that I haven’t read, and apparently the designer of this shirt from Nowhere Bad hasn’t read either, so they must be great. $12 for the next four days.

“Durden’s Soap” is a cool design, like everyone my age I loved Fight Club when it was released, I think it was one of those movies that you thought was a lot smarter than it actually was, which is often the case with movies that come with a ‘message’, but watching it was still a damn fine way to spend a couple of hours. From $10 at RIPT today.

“The Toasty Ranger” is a squee-inducing shirt from Shirt.Woot that is too cute for it’s own good, I’d want to hug anyone wearing this tee. $10 today only.

I think that there may be something wrong with the image that Loviu have put up for “Punk Fish” but it’s still pretty obvious what the shirt is all about, a puffer fish with a mohawk, cool concept well executed. €12 today then €22 tomorrow and beyond.

I feel bad about this, since TeeMinus24 are an advertiser on HYA and thus support my fabulous lifestyle, and I’m sure they’re doing their best, but the artwork for “R2D2: Universe Trotter” just isn’t good enough. Maybe they’re using low-res mocks to protect it from rippers, but I can’t see anyone wanting to buy a shirt that looks like that. You can pick up this shirt for $13.

fonzie happy days t-shirt

Thankfully, none of the daily tee sites have felt the need to ‘honour’ the passing of this date with a themed t-shirt, something that I’m very glad to see. There’s a definite case of the Sundays with a few shirts today, I get the feeling that the tee companies don’t push out their favourite pieces on the weekend because they know not many people will be shirt shopping.

It’s pretty rare that you see a Happy Days themed t-shirt, but TeeFury have pulled it off with aplomb today.

I’m not really feeling todays offering from RIPT, there seems to be a feeling on the comments for the design that “not everything has to be a reference” (regarding all the pop culture shirts they sell), but that doesn’t mean that this is an interesting design, and I can completely understand why they’ve tucked this shirt away on a Sunday.

Similarly, I’m not that excited by Tilteed‘s offering for the weekend, it’s drawn in a cool style, but it’s not grabbing me beyond that.

Fairly nice shirt from Loviu today, not one of their best but certainly wearable.

As a fan of pancakes I very much approve of this shirt from Shirt.Woot, but at the same time I do feel that it is a little wordy.

I don’t play role-playing games, so this shirt from TeeMinus24 is a bit of a non-starter for me.

Cripes, I’ve been on a bit of a downer today, fair comments or am I being a bit harsh?

Daily Tee Roundup Sept. 7th 2011

leonardo dicaprio meme t-shirts

I have been posting the daily tee sites for a couple of weeks now, and whilst I think it is a good idea, I don’t really like the way that it is dominating the site so much when you look through the previous pages, it looks like daily tee sites are the main focus of HYA, which they aren’t, everything in the tee world is the focus of HYA. So I’m going to give putting them in a group a go and publishing a roundup post each day and see how that goes. Comments welcome if you’d like to advise which format you prefer.

‘Feeling Dreamy’ is a shirt that you can like on two levels; one, it’s just a nice design, and two, there is definitely a meme in there and I’m not going to let slip what it is. $12 for a few more hours at Tilteed.

‘The Juniper Tree’ is okay, but I’m not getting too excited by it, it’s just one of those designs that anyone could have in their wardrobe but it’s never going to be a favourite. $10 today at Shirt.Woot

‘Dire Brew’ is apparently something to do with Game of Thrones, I haven’t seen the show yet (it is Sky+’d though), y’all think I’m gonna love it? $10 today at TeeFury

‘Let’s Roll’ is a Big Lebowski t-shirt, obviously, and a mighty fine one at that. This is what you get when you meet a stranger in the Alps! From $10 today at RIPT Apparel.

‘Dextoon’ is my favourite daily tee of the day, in fact it’s probably going to be my shirt of the week (not that I keep a chart, I just think it’s really good), fun style and a good way to deal with Dexter since shirts about serial killers tend to be a bit depressing and gory. £8 at Qwertee for another day and a half.

‘I hate police’ isn’t a sentiment that I agree with, but I do like the style of this shirt so I’m a little bit torn. €12 at Loviu today.

‘Tree’ is a pretty clever shirt, by no means brilliant, but I’d be happy seeing it in my wardrobe. $25 from today onwards at

street art dinosaur t-shirt

Nice, wearable tee this, cool to see RIPT doing something that isn’t pop culture based as well.

From $10 at RIPT Apparel today only.

castlevania t-shirt

I can’t say I was much of a fan of the Castlevania series of games, I think I may have played one on the NES and never really got into it so I didn’t bother with the rest of the series, which was probably my loss in hindsight.

From $10 today at RIPT.

star trek t-shirt

Ha, that dog think’s it’s a member of Starfleet!

From $10 today at RIPT

dalek doctor who t-shirt

I’m sure that Doctor Who designs weren’t this popular even a year ago, that show really has exploded in popularity (with a lot of that growth coming in the US).

From $10 today at RIPT

buffy the vampire slayer t-shirt

I think I’ve professed my love for Buffy (the show, and let’s be honest, the character too) in the past, so I was happy to see this shirt, even if it I don’t think that Sunnydale Lumber was an entity in the show, and you know how much I love it when a shirt goes ‘in world’ for a TV show.

From $10 today at RIPT.

Back to the Future T-shirt

Been seeing a lot of Back To The Future t-shirts recently, huh? This is a pretty good example of the genre.

From $10 at RIPT today only.
