At first I thought “ha, cool”, but then I realised that this would likely be a bit of a nightmare, there’s a reason why people don’t make carpets like t-shirts. I’m not ragging on the crafter since its a cool project, but I can’t imagine it lasting very well. If I were to attempt something similar (and if I were to have a HYA-only office, I think I probably would) I’d lay the tees on the floor and then have a thick layer of glass or perspex raised up a couple of inches above it.
