It’s probably a little bit too late to get this shirt in time for Jon Stewart’s “Rally to Restore Sanity and actually think about things rather than just over-reacting to every little thing and generally being a moron” at the end of October, but I think this is a timeless message, or at least timeless until she gives it up and stops wanting to be President, and people stop giving her the time of day in the media. To be fair to Headline Shirts, they could have gone a lot simpler with this shirt and still got the message across, but even without the political element this would be a pretty wearable shirt.

I know I shouldn’t, I really know, that but I do think there is something about the micro-celebrity of The Hills ‘stars’ Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag that is somewhat intriguing. They’re two people who have gained their fame, as I understand it, by pretending to be themselves on TV, and have then furthered that fame by turning up to events and staged photo opportunities. Incredible.
Also incredible. The director of the photoshoot that thought it was a great idea for Spencer and Heidi to show their support for Sarah Palin and John McCain by carrying around beer and a shotgun (what great role models for kids!). Whilst the very thought of Sarah Palin as Vice President scares the hell out of me, I must admit that Spencer’s “Palin for VP: God, Guns & Glory” tee is actually one of the best designed that I’ve seen supporting the Republican cause, which isn’t saying much to be perfectly honest.

I’m really starting to get into Karmaloop‘s Daily Loop, the short news show which covers items from the world of streetwear, new stuff they’re selling, technology and regular stories from the news too, basically stuff I’m interested in. I don’t plan on posting it every day, but I liked yesterday’s clip, so here it is, that and any post I write which has “fake Sarah Palin nudes” in the title is blatantly going to be pageview-grabbing-gold!
Video is NSFW for the aforementioned boobies (nothing too graphic though) and some fairly salty language, but you don’t watch videos at work anyway, right?
