lph081 Cupcake Heart Hoodie by Lipstick Prophets

I think I might have neglected to write about a hoodie for a few days what with the madness of the Black Friday deals, Hide Your Arms deciding it didn’t want to upload any photos or save posts, and me not going to Philly (it’s looking like I’ll be there in the New Year now), so I’m sorry about that, you guys must be getting cold. It has been even longer since I posted a hoodie with any kind of a skeleton look to it. This one sets itself.apart not just because the model is wearing ridiculously tight trousers, but because the heart print isn’t actually a heart at all, its a cupcake!

Guts Hoodie by The Loots @ Karmaloop Kazbah

I’m kinda on the fence about anatomically correct/representative designs. I find them intriguing and a lot of fun, but at the same time, I just can’t see myself wearing one. This design from The Loots does have something going for it that separates it from the skeleton designs I’ve written about in the past, an attempt to make it look as if the internals are actually internal. Admittedly, the ghosting effect isn’t that… effective, but it is an admirable effort all the same. There’s a lot of other little details on it that will help you to justify that $98 price tag, so be sure to peep the pics if you click through.

When diets attack, vol. VII

20.07.2006

With all the amazing weather I’ve been enjoying I almost forgot to post… sozzle, but at least I have a great hoodie to make up for my forgetfullness.
The idea of putting a life-size skeleton onto a piece of clothing is hardly original, I even saw Pete Wentz (the SFOB that gets me lots of google [...]

Every cloud has a silvein lining

Most. Puntastic. Title. Ever. (wait, is that a pun?)
If you’re more likely to listen to Dashboard than Death Cab, this hoodie may well be for you. It’s got a skeleton, to symbolise how you’re dead inside, and some suitably gothic text pronouncing that “we walk alone”. Now that I’ve written it, I’ve gotta give the [...]
