i have an idea for a t-shirt

Surprisingly enough, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a t-shirt with this slogan on it before.

perception apparel

Both nice shirts from the Perception crew, they haven’t got a massive amount of designs in their store but they are all good quality, and it’s cool to see how the brand is evolving and gaining more of a look that it can claim to be it’s own (compare their first three releases with the last three).

3 new shirts this week at SnorgTees

by Andy on September 30, 2011

doctor who t-shirt

All 3 shirts are $14.95 until October 2nd when they will become $19.95.

random objects

Very cool release from Random Objects, I like the idea of releasing a pair of shirts that work together but are also strong as a standalone shirt. The crew-neck is a nice addition to their catalogue too, nice to see them straying away from shirts for a change. Tees are $23 each and the crew-neck will leave a $43 hole in your wallet.

typography t-shirt

The phrase “I’m the kid your parents warned you about” is usually put on cheap tees with poor design that I would make me cringe if I saw someone wearing them. However, A Better Tomorrow being A Better Tomorrow, they’ve taken that and spun it on it’s head to create this interesting typography t-shirt.

I re-issued my Nothing is Any Good… shirt this week and borrowed your IT Crowd screen shot. Thanks! Hope that was OK.

Andy: Internet celebrity Richard Stevens of Diesel Sweeties fame is asking if it’s okay to use my stuff? Cripes, I must be moving up in the world. I can’t wait for The IT Crowd to be back on TV, those 6 weeks are glorious for traffic (and I love the show, of course), and I think that nowadays I have the infrastructure in place to actually withstand the avalanche of traffic that Graham Linehan can send my way with a single tweet.

This post was submitted by Richard Stevens.

“No Guts No Glory” logo t-shirt

no guts no glory t-shirt

I like it when a company releases a logo shirt that doesn’t require you to really be a fan of the brand to want to buy the shirt, something no doubt made easier by ‘no guts no glory’ being a well known phrase, but that doesn’t stop me thinking that this is a damn fine t-shirt.

john hughes movies t-shirt

I feel pretty lucky that I grew up at a time when it was possible to watch John Hughes movies and just about be in the age group that they were aimed at, I don’t think that there are any movies for teens nowadays that comes close to being as good.

frank & jan – 2011 from frank & jan on Vimeo.

As is the fashion, Frank & Jan got some attractive people to wear their new shirts and just hang out whilst being filmed, cut it together with some nice music and called it a lookbook video. This latest release include some really great slogan/typography t-shirts, definitely worth checking out.

Two new shirts from Prestigious

by Andy on August 18, 2011

this is prestigious t-shirts

Couple of new shirts from Prestigious for you to enjoy here. They’ve used the ‘handmade by human beings’ slogan before but not in this style. That shirt in particular is limited to just 50 pieces total and is hand-numbered to reflect that. I prefer the grey shirt of the two though, it’s a really nicely done design.

how to stay focused t-shirt

At the time of writing this shirt is not yet available via their Facebook store, but as they have most of their other new releases on there it will hopefully turn up soon, it is of course available in the German-language A Better Tomorrow store.

Kill Hipsters t-shirt by ParadeMaker

by Andy on July 30, 2011

kill hipsters t-shirt

Just so we’re clear, I’m not actually suggesting that anyone goes out and kills hipsters (but wouldn’t it be ironic if they did!), everyone is apparently a hipster in some way nowadays, but judging by that dude’s expression he might actually be looking to hunt down a few hipsters.

seibei t-shirt

Long time Seibei fans may well be aware that this is not a new design, or even an old design in a new colourway, which was kind of the point of the time-limited weekly releases that SEIBEI has been doing for a couple of months now, but there’s actually a pretty nice story behind this one. When the “I Like to say things and eat stuff” design was still in the store as a ‘permanent’ piece and the stock was dwindling, an international customer made an order, and as sometimes happens with international orders (or any orders for that matter) the tee got lost in the mail. Between the purchase and realising that the tee had gone missing or was now being worn by the coolest looking postman on the block, David ran out of stock of the design, so the customer never got their shirt. That is until now, of course, when that person and the rest of us have the chance to pick up this slice of SEIBEI history.

The shirt is available from a few days ago (sowwy!) until April 30th).

make ideas real t-shirt

I really like this shirt by Dale Edwin Murray (Bananas Tees is his store), it’s a good message and the style is just about perfect for my tastes, nice and simple.

Dale has also been kind enough to hook us up with a 20% off coupon code for his store. Just use the coupon code hya20 to receive the discount on your order (yes, this deal is also listed on ShirtDeck).

society losing focus t-shirt by freshjive

It’s a fair bet that Freshjive had much higher things in mind when they created this other than to make people like me look at it and go, “ooh, what a nice colourway.”

julian assange t-shirt

When I first saw this t-shirt, I wasn’t thinking about WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange (though admittedly this is a timely blog post given the latest updates in his possible extradition to Sweden today), I was thinking about the people all over the Middle East that are rising up and making their voices heard in countries where typically they are kept very quiet. I don’t know what it would be like to live in that condition, and the fear that many people are existing in right now, and it was be unfair for me to act as if I really understand it, but hey, at least this t-shirt made me think for a minute.

22 Inspiring Typography t-shirts

by Andy on February 21, 2011

typography t-shirts

Obviously I didn’t write this list of inspiration typography t-shirt, if I did it would have had about a bajillion items on it, whereas Tee Hunter are all killer and no filler, picking out just 22 tees that you’re bound to like because they’ve got inspirational quotes on them, and people on the internet love inspiring stuff.

mind over matter t-shirt

I almost feel bad posting a t-shirt this nice at the weekend because I now there won’t be as many people as usual looking at the site and appreciating this design.

“Better than I deserve” by Ugmonk

by Andy on January 17, 2011

better than I deserve ugmonk t-shirt

I had a massive analogy comparing Ugmonk‘s tees to an annoyed baseball stadium janitor who was sick of having to clear up all the balls in the car park… but frankly just writing that sentence was enough effort, can you imagine how long it would have taken to do it properly?

It’s a good looking shirt in typical Ugmonk fashion, and if you’d like, you can see the making of the design here.
