Stan Lee teams up with MASScanvas to release 5 charity t-shirts

MASScanvas have a knack for teaming up with big names in the entertainment world, and this latest collaboration is now different. They joined forces with Stan Lee to hold a design contest to find 5 great comic book inspired t-shirt designs, from which a portion of all sales will be going to the John Wayne Cancer Institute. Stan picked all the winners himself, and I’d say he picked a good looking bunch of t-shirts.

stan God Save Stan Lee by Secret Headquarters

I may not be a comic book guy, but I certainly do seem to post about comic-related tees with unusual frequency at the moment, and why the devil not, even I can recognise the effect that Stan Lee has had on the world of the graphic novel (see, that shows its a medium I respect!), and in turn has had an effect upon movies and TV. Also, I always like it when he pops up little cameos in movies.

I don’t know why he particularly needs saving, or why this tee is particularly hilarious (except for the fact that some people think that it should probably be sold in sizes above XL), but it still looks pretty cool.
