Post image for King Apparel AW12 arrives at Sturban Clothing

I was actually thinking to myself over the weekend that Glyn from Sturban hasn’t been in touch for a while, and then when I started work on Monday morning I noticed an e-mail from him, spooky!

He wanted to let us know that King Apparel’s AW12 collection is now in stock at Sturban, and in the process I found that he is a far better writer than I, so instead of me trying to mumble through telling you about the line and end up telling a story about myself in the process, I’ll just copy/paste what he told me:

As winter approaches here in the UK the aut/win clothing ranges start to arrive and one of the first with their split delivery meaning clothing suitable for the UK’s autumn weather is King Apparel.

King Apparel are one of the UKs foremost premium streetwear brands remaining resolute as ever; to develop and grow a clothing brand independently, run by those who live and breath the culture; to create cutting edge design; to deliver impeccable quality and to retain the utmost integrity at every point. Keeping things exclusive with a maximum of 300 pieces or less produced in each garment and a no re-runs or repeats philosophy to retain exclusivity.

With that King Apparel have covered many bases this season with a pricepoint denim coming in at under £55 the Athelstan is set to sell out instantly. Made with the same care and quality of all King garments the Athelstan is setting a new standard, matt black King buttons on the fly, leather K logo patch on the right rear pocket and tan embroidered triple stitch on the rear pockets, these bad boys have been manufactured to perform and sell.

Along with denim King have produced some custom, cut and sew crew neck sweat shirts in classic colour combinations and killer designs, The Prestige with the King lion head logo sells out every season and this year comes in the new exclusive colour Baby Blue. That is supported by what will become classic designs Reign Supreme no fifty shades of grey here just athletic grey with a yellow print and the new East London Kings in Navy with blue print or bad boy black and orange, if you know your culture you will get these designs.

Enough of the classics I said King had covered all the bases and here’s my key piece and whilst others in the streetwear business are playing safe King drop the Duck Camo Rain Mac, BOOM!!!! I love this piece and will be rocking mine any day. King started from scratch and designed the camo and had the fabric produced before they perfected this jacket. I know King Apparel and I have one of their jackets that I wear everyday in the cold morning walking my dogs, it performs and I know the Duck Camo RainMac will too and not only that it looks very, very, VERY cool, sorry did I repeat myself there ;-)

Of course you can get all these pieces plus more from King Apparel and all your other favourite urban streetwear brands from sturbanclothing.com the only place to shop online since 1999 and still keeping it UK and independent all the way.

And yet somehow I’m almost considered a professional writer, madness!

Daily Tee & News Roundup October 28th

by Andy on October 28, 2011

panda astronaut t-shirt

Very nice Panda/astronaut t-shirt from TeeFury today.

Another oldie-but-goodie from Greg Abbott at Tilteed today, it’s a really lovely design.

Weren’t you always a little disappointed when you had to play as Luigi? Stupidhurts.us

Hahaha, silly owl. Shirt.Woot

Nice tribute to A Clockwork Orange at RIPT today.

If a single one of you gets the reference on this TeeMinus24 design I will be amazed.

Fairly creepy looking Doctor Who design at OtherTees today.

24tee bring us a classic Halloween design.

I didn’t like this Donald Duck shirt when Loviu first released it, and on the second viewing my opinion has not changed.

I have no clue what is going on in this Catch of the Day Tee shirt.

Nice Doctor Who design from Shirt Punch, I think it’s fair to say those guys have had a pretty decent first week.

I stumbled upon this fantastic tutorial by Natalie Jost detailing several ways that you can customize your Big Cartel store to give it features which you would usually expect to see in a standalone ecommerce solution.

Sturban are offering free delivery in the UK on all orders until the end of the month.

BustedTees have put all their fall releases on sale for $14 a piece until noon (EST) on October 31st.

Dephect are offering 25% off all their tees with the coupon code HALLOWEEN11 until November 3rd.

I’ve never heard of Kii Arens before, but their shirts are on Fab.com now, $19.50 down from $35, and they’re looking mighty fine.

Digital Gravel have knocked 50% off everything, which is pretty huge, all you have to do is use the coupon code THX2011, the infographic says 3 days, but it’s now more like two and a half.

T-Post, the Swedish t-shirt subscription service, are going to stop using a wholesale blank (I’m fairly sure they were using American Apparel) and produce their own shirts, and they want feedback from you to help make it ‘the best t-shirt the world has ever seen.’

That above is a relaunch teaser for PPRHRT, I was unaware that they were in need of a relaunch but there you go, like their Facebook page to keep up to date with their relaunch progress.

A reminder that Urban Industry‘s big Halloween sale is ongoing.

PLNDR are giving away a $250 gift pack from Breezy Excursion, who I’ve never heard of so I presume that means they’re popular.

50% off everything at Sturban Clothing

by Andy on August 20, 2011

sturban sale

Do you hate it when companies say that they’ve got a 50% off sale going on and then it’s just one or two items that have the magic 50% off and the rest hover around 10%. I guess that Sturban hate it too because their current sale has 50% off everything, and I checked, the whole store is half price. How long will this sale last? I have no idea.

Sales! Sales! Sales!

by Andy on January 21, 2011

Yesterday was fun, wasn’t it? Now it’s time to stop being all “me, me, me” and get back to you, you, you. How will I do that, with sales of course!

Gold Coin are rocking a 50% off end of season sale from now until Sunday with the coupon code save50.

Another week another incredible offer at Sturban Clothing, well we do have to try this new code. So buy 2 items and get 50% of the lowest priced! That includes all items that are already discounted on site, so if an item already has 40% off just by applying the code at checkout you get an extra additional 50% off on top. Offer ends 24 Jan 11. Just enter the code 654375213 at checkout.

At the time of writing Human Empire’s server was unreachable, so I can’t comment on what’s in the sale, but they usually stock some good stuff so it’s worth trying to check out. Men’s sale section, and for the ladies too.

There’s 40-60% off tees in the PalmerCash sale.

Oh come now, Spicy Brown, if you send out an e-mail to your mailing list with a coupon code in it that’s “just for our mailing list ;)” I’m gonna share it, especially if you put Facebook and Twitter buttons on to encourage sharing! 30% off from now until the 25th with the coupon code Grow Koichi.

Use the coupon code TWITTER at Death, Shred! and you’ll get 15% off your order.

blackberry messenger t-shirt

My man Glynn over at Sturban Clothing sure can pick ‘em. If you told me, a card-carrying member of the iPhone brigade, that I’d be posting a tee about Blackberry Messenger, and thinking it was cool, I’d be shocked, shocked!

Not particularly cheap, but when it comes to streetwear I always brace myself for sticker-shock nowadays.

jermain defoe sturban clothing streetwear

Quite a cool little promotion this, Sturban Clothing have got a big sale going on, every item in the store has a decent percentage off, but only until England play Germany on Sunday, so have a nose around and see if anything takes your fancy at Sturban, but be quick getting your order in, and remember that they have free shipping worldwide, so what you see is what you pay.

Oslo Hoodie by Ambiguous at Sturban Clothing

by Andy on January 16, 2010

It would be hard to describe this hoodie as ‘spectacular’, there just isn’t that much to it, but what it does it does very well. The colourway is very well matched, the embroidered logo on the chest isn’t too obtrusive, and the contrast hood lining and drawstring set it off really nicely. You know, I think I like this hoodie enough that I might actually buy it.. maybe.

Sturban Clothing‘s Pre-Christmas 40% off sale is still going strong.

- sehubabe – the graphic t-shirt - Xmas specials - 1260450416166

Well, how charming of Sehubabe, and it’s not a rebate, it’s a sale.

CottonFactory.com - Home_1260451640958

15% off everything at Cotton Factory.

They may only have three designs in store, but they’re all pretty nice and you certainly can’t argue with that price.

Get 20% off your order at Uchi with the coupon code 31CEDuchi20.

project a apparel_1260451229545

Tees from €5 with €3 flat fee shipping, not bad considering how expensive it must be for Project A Apparel to live in Dublin.

Mark your calendars, I’ve officially said it, I said the C word (not that one) before it’s even December, I’m a little bit disappointed in myself, but as Sturban Clothing are calling this their pre-Christmas sale then I didn’t really have any other option. Sturban sell clothing from pretty much any of the major names in streetwear, and it’s almost all (3 brands aren’t involved) got 40% off, which is such a good deal that even I’m hunting for something to buy. Don’t forget, Sturban also offer free worldwide delivery, so Americans can feel free to get involved.

Interesting fact, the fellow behind Sturban told me about a few places to go in Manchester for dimsum earlier this week, I love Twitter!
