Just in case my coverage wasn’t quite enough for you, Tobias over at the Spreadshirt blog (I met him, nice fellow) has a big German-language round-up of the event, with links to lots of other posts about the day, which have a load of pictures on them, so if you were as disappointed with my photo skills as I was, make sure you check out those links. Also, Adam from Tee Junction now has a report up about the Open Runway event in Berlin, with some videos.
Oh, and can you see me in the background of the shots above?
International T-Shirt Day 2009 is coming up on June 21st, and to celebrate the best garment ever (the t-shirt), various blogs and companies are running competitions leading up to the big day. If you want to keep track of all the competitions (most of which are a lot better than my attempt) then Tee Junction is probably your best bet, Adam has chronicled each day so far, so it’s a safe bet that he will continue doing so. Of course, since everyone is on Twitter nowadays, you can also follow T-Shirt Day on Twitter and receive updates that way.
For today’s competition, all you have to do is watch the video above and tell me how many t-shirts were rained down on me throughout the length of the video. Not how many of them hit me. Not how many of them were on me at the end of the video. All I want to know is how many t-shirts were thrown. Please enter by leaving a comment on this post. Entries will be open until midnight (GMT) on Monday June 8th, and I’ll hopefully announce the winner on Tuesday June 9th. Oh, and just one entry each please.
Up for grabs for the winner is a €50 LaFraise voucher, kindly donated by Tee Junction, and even more important than that, I will personally send you a signed photo of me (jackpot!)… and a mystery t-shirt. If the winner hails from the USA, then LaFraise vouchers will be useless because they don’t ship to America, in which case a Threadless gift certificate will be substituted, I will also send you a bar of real chocolate because American chocolate didn’t impress me one bit.
Good luck with your guesses, if anyone gets it correct I will be so impressed that I’ll put something else coolutterly ridiculous that no one would really want in the prize pack.
I don’t know if any of you have been following along with Tee Junction’s 12 days of Christmas giveaway spectacular (I totally forgot to mention that I was a guest on there a few days ago), but Adam has managed to wrangle some great deals from clothing companies. The deals were only meant to last for one day, but in the case of LaFraise, they’ve decided to extend their 50% off coupon all the way to Christmas.
Just use the coupon code teejunctiononeday to get 50% off your order. Sorry Americans, LaFraise still won’t ship to you.
