teenage mutant ninja turtles

Some good designs are Snorg this week, I don’t think I’d wear the Shredder design but at least it’s an original concept (I certainly haven’t seen it before).

1. “The Girl Who Waited” is an interesting design because it occupies both the #1 and #2 design at RedBubble this week, as it is a collaboration between the frequently posted Megan Lara and the less frequented posted Harry Gordon, who have both posted the design on their respective accounts. So you can buy it from Megan or Harry, your choice.

2. “Workaholics – DEMAMP CAMP” is probably something to do with a movie I haven’t seen.

3. “Owl” is probably the worst t-shirt that I’ve ever seen in the top 10, it is just awful… but I suspect this is another case of people using RedBubble as a printing service for some kind of of event. Even so…

4. “Vintage Michelangelo” – Fair play to harebrained, this is nice work and I’m sure we’ll be seeing it at the daily sites soon.

5. “Dark Types – Faint Attacks” – Good thing that Kari Fry tagged this shirt otherwise I wouldn’t have known that it was something to do with Pokemon.

6. “YOU ONLY YOLO ONCE – Workaholics” – This must be another reference to the movie Workaholics, otherwise this design needs to burn in a fiery pit.

7. “LNK” – Drew Wise drops a nice Game Boy design.

8. “Flatbush Zombies” – This is an unofficial design for a hip hop crew that I’ve never heard of because I’m not cool.

9. “Flight Club (Galaxy)” – It was about damn time that we had a Flight of the Navigators tee.

10. “Push My Buttons” – This picture swept the internet recently with it’s combination of laughter and boobs (yeah, now you clicked the link), so this guy is cashing in on that with a keyboard design.

Two of these shirts I like, one of them I don’t this week at Shirt Vegas, take a guess which one I don’t particularly care for but don’t actually have anything against.

funny t-shirts

Favourite for me this week is the Mona Lisa design, though they’re all pretty wearable, nice release from Snorg. As usual, the three new tees are $14.95 this week and will be $19.95 from next week.

night of the living dead t-shirt

Very cool Night of the Living Dead shirt from TeeFury today.

Here’s another Firefly design I don’t understand at Qwertee, and I’m all the more confused because it is a Jurassic Park mashup too.

Song Bird makes another appearance at Tilteed.

Good use of negative space from Stupidhurts.us today.

Nice take on the old proverb from Shirt.Woot.

I guess that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles must be popular again since there is a definite rise in the amount of TMNT shirts I’ve been seeing recently, and I’m not exactly hunting them out. From $10 at RIPT.

I previously featured this shirt a couple of weeks ago when it was on RedBubble, but now it has made it’s way over to The Yetee for the next few days.

I haven’t seen Machete but this parody shirt from OtherTees still makes me laugh.

How depressed does Snuffaluffagus look? 24tee.

As a big Community fan I am very pleased to see this ‘Troy & Abed in the morning’ shirt up at TeeRaiders.

The infinite Swiss army knife makes a return to Loviu.

Nice to see a Zoidberg/Futurama shirt on Shirt Punch today.

I think I’d probably like this latest DBH shirt if it didn’t have the sea turtle on it, but it’s still wearable nevertheless.

Don’t worry, it’s cool to be a nerd now! $11 down from $20 at BustedTees today.

The Cool Hunting gift guide is now live.

I Am The Trend have an excellent post introducing Grave Takers, a new brand from Kyle Crawford of Electric Zombie fame.

That Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles shirt, just released today by laFraise, really brought a smile to my face.

Starship Troopers t-shirt

When I first saw Starship Troopers I thought it was awesome because of all the guns and explosions, and even a couple of boobs here and there, but now that I’m an adult I realise that it’s actually a bit smarter than it’s often given credit for. $10 today at TeeFury.

ninja turtles t-shirt

Is this a new shirt from 604 Republic? Usually I only blog about their stuff when I get an e-mail but I headed over today to see if there was anything new and I spotted this shirt that I haven’t written up before. Really like the crest style on this, it’s nerdy, but not too nerdy, and very wearable. Turtle power!

Costiness=$18.95 Buy it at 604 Republic

mario t-shirt

Sorry that the daily tee posts are coming to you late today, I was installing a RAID drive on our network and then the internet stopped working on my PC for no discernible reason.

$10 at TeeFury today.

In case you can’t read the text, it says “Teenage Mutant Ninja: 80s Reference”. This tee pretty much sums up how I feel about tees that ape on cultural icons from my childhood. On the one hand, they’re usually a lot of fun, but on the other, they just seem a bit lazy, it sometimes feels as if a tee with a random 80s reference will be popular no matter how badly it is designed, so I’m glad to see the Diesel Sweeties crew making light of the trend.
