Favourite for me at BustedTees this week is ‘Don’t Mess With Tetris’, as if you actually care which I like the most.

Daily Tees & News for December 22nd

by Andy on December 22, 2011

zombie enforcement agency t-shirt

Things really are getting quiet in the tee world as people get ready for Christmas and the last order dates are passed for most brands, hopefully we’ll all be able to relax soon.

But, but, where’s the reference in this TeeFury design?!

How weird that there would be a 1% milk shirt at Snorg this week, and then Shirt.Woot have something similar.

RIPT must be fans of The Walking Dead too.

tetris burger t-shirt

It’s surprisingly unusual to find a Tetris tee, you’d think there’d be loads of them around.

The Blueprint by Huzzah Goods

by Andy on August 11, 2009

The history of Russian architecture dates back to the grand churches of the Kievan Rus, with its monumental structures heavily influenced by the Byzantines, and continues on to the Italian Renaissance-influenced Kremlin cathedrals of the Early Muscovite Period, the Baroque stylings of Imperial Russia, the Constructivist design of the Post-Revolution, and the conservative monumentalism of the postwar Soviet Union.

It wasn’t until the 1980s that the Falling Block school of architecture was unveiled. This innovative technique involved blocks (actually structures made of four identically-sized cubes) being dropped inside of a transparent well and manipulated in mid-air before they reach their destination. Hailed for its juxtaposition of simplicity and chaotic unpredictability, the style quickly spread to America and Japan and enjoys worldwide popularity to this day.

When Huzzah Goods can write a product description that good why should I even bother? Because I should be professional? Heck no!

Costiness=$25 Available from Huzzah Goods

All Saints rips off 4 Color Rebellion?

by Andy on February 18, 2008

Do you really need much more information than that pic at the top?All Saints, a popular retailer in the UK (mostly in the South, I think), appear to have literally copied the Valentine’s Day artwork/card from 4 Color Rebellion, a popular website about all-things-Nintendo, and put it onto a t-shirt.

All Saints are not a small operation, I saw multiple outlets of theirs in trendy and pricey areas of London on my recent trip there, and 4CR? Well, they were giving this image away for free back in 2006 for Valentines Day. I don’t think that giving away something for free includes taking that image and turning it into a faux-vintage. The strange thing for me is that this design doesn’t really fit with the aesthetic that I thought AS put out there, they had some really cool black and grey jackets in their windows, I didn’t think they even did stuff with graphics.

I don’t think that there’s any question that these are the same two images, the tetris pieces are in the same order and with the patterns on each picture, so these aren’t similar in concept, they’re just the same.

Here’s the tee @ All Saints (Costiness=£40)
And 4CRs post all about it [via You Thought We Wouldn’t Notice]
