Nat wearing a SuperNAT-ure t-shirt

Are you all ready for some more Wrongwroks news? Or at the very least enjoy a bit of Nat-licious eye candy?It would seem that I’m not the only one smitten with the model, since she’s popped up on a few designs recently, the latest of which is a collaboration with a Singaporean store called Super Clique. You can also now get the embroidered Dorabob character on a red American Apparel track jacket with white raglan piping (which is a sweet colourway), and they’ve taken the WcDonald trucker hat (basically, the McDs logo upside down) super-stealthy by offering it in a black-on-black combo. As usual, this is probably all limited edition, so if you want it, go and get it… now.

I don’t really know what you guys think of a t-shirt with a photo of a girl in her bra, but I kind a like it, although I’m sure it would receive a few less-than-complimentary stares if I wore it to go shopping, and a few unwanted stares from drunk guys on a night out.

More pictures after the break (I haven’t done a ‘more’ for months, have I?)

I went to see Talledega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby this evening (its a movie where Will Ferrell plays that guy that he has been in every movie he’s ever made, think of it as Anchorman on wheels), and there is a scene involving a cougar, so when I saw this track jacket by Le Tigre, I had to mention it… because as we all know, cougars and tigers are actually the same animal.

It’s a pretty simple jacket, so there’s not really much for me to say, but I did find the blurb pretty funny:

* 64% Cotton/36% Polyester
* Front zipper
* Ribbing at waist, cuffs, and neck
* Machine wash cold with like colors
* Only non-chlorine bleach when needed
* Tumble dry low
* Cool iron when needed
* By Le Tigre

Because my purchasing choices are determined by how the item should be washed!

2-2 without a grudge

Just because England can never beat Sweden at football (by which I mean the version where people use their feet rather than their hands) doesn’t mean I have anything against them, hell, I thought Stockholm was freakin’ awesome when I went there a few years ago. And now I’m e-returning to Svenska via the caliroots store, which I had presumed would be based in California, but I guess its just the clothes that have roots in American culture…

… Much like this track jacket from MHI which is inspired by a movie called ‘The Warriors’, which I’ve never seen, but with an IMDB rating of 7.3 it might be worth a rental. I don’t want to get off track here, but there is another film called ‘Warriors‘ (starring Gary Busey) that came up when I was searching, and one of the users comments was “really bad, even for a Canadian film”. Ok, now back to the track jacket.

I think you’ll agree that it’s a pretty bold design, and I like the font in a spray-paint can kind of a way, and the style of the map is cool, with the messy outline drips contrasting with the tourist-information-esque pictures of the subway cars. And on the front of the jacket there is an MHI/The Warriors logo mashup on the left breast.

Wemoto Clothing

It’s started raining (the UKs two weeks of summer are over, I guess), so its time to get back to the sleeves!

Wemoto clothing from Germany produce some big, brash designs for their tees, but things get a little bit more subtle with their hoodie and zip-up track jacket collection. I guess that this is logo clothing, but since it is so subtle it creates a pretty nice effect, and the orange and white contrasts nicely on the navy and ash grey colours.

Wemoto print onto American Apparel, orders are sorted by e-mail.

Tank Fear-oy

4-13-2

Today’s recommendation is a bit special, but I must admit I don’t know how much it costs.

Akomplice seem to have gone down the classy route with this jacket, and what makes clothing classy? Stitching!

The front of the jacket (not pictured) has Akomplice embroidered onto it on the left breast, but that’s not where the needle-work ends, oh no my friends. On the back (pictured, otherwise there would be no picture) there’s a load of tanks, lined up, ready for battle perhaps. But instead of firing deadly shells, they’re firing roses, and those roses are also embroidered, honestly, how sweet must this jacket look in reality rather than photoshop theory.

Akomplice clothing can be purchased from many locations online and at a store in most American states (as well as a few select stores globally). See the full list here.
