true tarpan

When we first took a look at True Tarpan I noted how professional everything looked for a first collection and how their presentation showed a level of experience beyond people who had been running for less than a week. Well, unsurprisingly, this second collection shows that same level of quality that they brought to the first, and there’s some really cool designs in the collection. One thing that stood out to me in their press release was this; “printed using a new revolutionary print technology that will ensure long lasting wear and are printed on high quality tees.” That’s got me really curious because they don’t specifically mention their printing technique, but I don’t keep my ear to the ground on these matters so maybe there is some revolutionary printing technique that’s sweeping the nation, who knows?

Price wise they are keeping things fair at £19.99 for a tee including free UK shipping (something I feel that they should make a bigger deal of on the website).

True Tarpan launch, I take a look

by Andy on June 11, 2012

true tarpan t-shirts

Got an e-mail from True Tarpan a couple of days ago letting me know about their launch last Friday. Looking at the prints and quality of their shirts you wouldn’t have thought that they slung open the virtual doors to their shop so recently, but that level of professionalism is very reassuring when it comes to a new brand because it suggests that they’ve done their homework. Even a seemingly small touch like the hem tag makes me feel more comfortable with writing about a brand that is still getting themselves established, because taking the time to do something like that usually means that they’ve thought out the rest of the product too.

The shirts are designed and produced in the UK (though I would imagine that the t-shirt blanks themselves are not made in the UK) and are all available now in various colourways for a reasonable £15.99, but if you like them on Facebook you will find yourself as the recipient of a discount code which will knock a bit off that.
