If you’ve been reading HYA for more than 5 minutes you’ll be well aware of the back story behind Juhnny Cupcakes, but that doesn’t stop me from mentioning it every so often. Johnny is an impressive success story and it’s cool to hear him talk about it, I especially liked the bit towards the end where he talks about emotional success being as important as financial success.

My spies within Threadless have passed me a document in a manilla envelope containing some interesting figures, a week after a blistering launch to the campaign (and a rousing speech from a handsome blogger), team Panda holds a lead over the competition.
I doubt that Hide Your Arms is responsible for that domination, but it’s good to know that the voting public out there are making the correct and obvious choice.

Beyu Apparel got in touch to let me know about a stop motion video that they made recently. It’s a nice video and I like the music (though I’m not sure how long a video with that music will last on YouTube), but the thing that I really like about it is the location. When I was in Philly (which is almost 3 years ago now, it feels like a lot less) I would cross that street every day on the way into work, just about one block South of where it’s shot, so this vid got me all nostalgic and thinking about my time in one of America’s under-appreciated cities.
