I really like the simplicity of many of Violent Elegance’s designs, yet their being priced in euro’s has often been a bit of a hinderance, however €19 is rather more palatable for such wearable tees, especially with free shipping worldwide.

Whenever I see something like this tee and I know that a portion of the sales goes to a charity, I always think “why wouldn’t I just give money to the charity directly?” But I shouldn’t think that, because shamefully, I don’t give to charity as often as I feel I should, so if me buying a tee were to benefit a charity as a byproduct then I should just stop being a cynic and just accept that Violent Elegance are just trying to do a good thing.

I’ve gotten into the habit of taking an apple to work with me most days as an ‘emergency’ if I end up not being able to leave for lunch (which is usually my own fault for not being able to say ‘no’ when people ask me to do tasks), but I seem to always end up eating it by about 11:30 anyway, so maybe I’m going to have to start taking a second ‘emergency’ apple. Man, planning for my own lack of willpower and need to label things to make them sound exciting is tough.
