In the past Yackfou have been pretty tight with their sales, knocking of €5 here and there on a few items, so this sale is a pretty big departure for them, as there is rather a lot of stuff on sale. Sure, we’ve seen lower prices for things that are regularly priced, but clothing Germany (where Yackfou are based) is expensive, so these are good deals on good products, and there is worldwide shipping included on these prices (I think).

You’re probably thinking “Andy,
hoodies for €30 hardly seems like something to celebrate, you handsome though foolish fellow
who walks on Lakes.” And you’d be right (I certainly am handsome), €30 hoodies aren’t astoundingly cheap, but they were €59.90 each before they were cut down, so it is a significant saving. No word on when this
sale will be ending, so hop to it if you’re interested.

*Apparently the sale is now over, it must have only lasted a day, would’ve been good if Yackfou had made that clearer, sorry.

This is, that’s what. Looks good, and typically Yackfousian, fans of the brand should have nothing to complain about, those horizontal line tees aren’t doing much for me though.

When I was walking through security at the airport for my flight home from Berlin, I noticed someone wearing a
Yackfou t-shirt, and I realised that I should have gone to check out their
bricks & mortar store, especially considering that Berlin’s excellent public transport system makes going anywhere in the city fairly convenient. Well, there’s always next time.
So when I got their newsletter announcing the Summer line I was pretty excited to see what they’d come up with this time around. Unfortunately, my excitement diminished somewhat when I checked out the store. It’s not that there’s anything particularly wrong with their latest offerings, it just doesn’t wow me quite as much as previous collections. That said, Wood & Piano are both standout pieces even if I wouldn’t associate them with the typical Yackfou style, though maybe I don’t know what that typical style is anymore!

It’s winter, and Yackfou are German, so they’ve done the sensible thing and created a collection that includes a healthy percentage of
hoodies. By the way, I’m not saying they’re sensible because they’re German, I’m not intending to stereotype them, I just imagine that they winter can be pretty chilly in Germany.
